Officials of the Vinnytsia Regional Council have already carried out an illegal re-registration of the community of the Demetrius Church.

According to the message, local residents and the head of the OCU community, Viktor Borodiy, came to the temple on October 30, 2022 at 7 am. The raiders broke the lock, damaged the front door and prevented the believers from entering their temple and church house, where the personal belongings of the priest and parishioners are kept.

“The deputy of the Kalynivka City Council Serhiy Lomachevsky was also present and contributed to the illegal actions. Another raider seizure of the temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was provoked by the head of the Department for Nationalities and Religions of the Vinnytsia RMA I.
