At a meeting of the Baranivka Town Council, the deputies “banned” the activities of the UOC.

The deputies of the Baranivka Town Council, Zhytomyr region, "banned" the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, as reported on the city's Facebook page.

“The Baranivka territorial community took such a step, first of all, to prevent threats to the national security of the country during martial law. Responsibility and control for implementation are entrusted to the Permanent Commission on Humanitarian Affairs, Legality and Parliamentary Ethics,” the message posted on social networks reads.

As earlier reported, a member of the Pishchane UTC called for a ban on the UOC, however, the residents turned to the SBU with a request to check the activities of the servants of the people, inciting interfaith hatred.
