The transition of communities is a natural phenomenon, we do not create it artificially, Dumenko assured.

On August 3, 2022, the head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko during a meeting with the acting Secretary General of the World Council of Churches, Archpriest John Savka, and his deputy, said that the OCU is not taking over UOC churches, reports the OCU website.

"The transition of communities is a natural phenomenon, we do not create it artificially and, despite various attempts, this process cannot be stopped. Often I only learn from media reports that a particular parish has decided to join our church. We are open to dialogue and want to live in peace with all, so we are interested in the voluntary and peaceful implementation of this process," Epifaniy told the guests about the "voluntary transfers”.

As earlier reported, Dumenko assured the British ambassador that the OCU was not seizing UOC temples.
