Orbán to US Conservatives: We must revitalize our Churches, our families
The Hungarian president, speaking in the U.S., said children should be shielded from gender ideology and churches and traditional families should be supported.
Hungarian President Viktor Orbán, speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas on August 4, said that churches and families should be supported and children should be shielded from gender ideology, reports “Rolitico”.
Commenting on the world situation, Orbán said to enthusiastic applause.: " This war is a culture war. We have to revitalize our churches, our families, our universities and our community institutions." In his view, "we must protect our children from the ideology of gender <...>. Family bonds are based on marriage and the bond between child and parents. The mother is a woman, and the father is a man. Leave our children alone! Full stop. End of discussion!"
As reported, the Hungarian authorities said that Christianity should be the basis for EU integration.
