The Network has shown refugees from Karabakh seeking shelter from shelling in the Church of the Nativity of Christ on the territory of the RF peacekeeping contingent.

Refugees from the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh, who came under fire from the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, settled in the Church of the Nativity of Christ on the territory of the military camp of Russian peacekeepers near Stepanakert. Footage from the church was published by the Telegram channel "Region 22".

According to media reports, several hundred people have taken refuge inside the church and on the church grounds.

Among the refugees who found shelter, there are both young people and elderly individuals, as well as children.

As reported, the Armenian Church referred to Azerbaijan's operation in Karabakh as a "genocide".
