The video sparked a great response among Orthodox believers in Ukraine.

The YouTube channel "Deacon’s Diary" published a video which shows what the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was like before it was restored by UOC monks, and what it is like now.

"TO TEARS! Resurrection of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra by the labour of UOC monks (photofact)," reads the caption under the video.

In the comments, YouTube users thanked the abbot and monks of the UOC for their efforts in the restoration of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

"A low bow to Vladyka Pavel and all monks for the Lavra, God bless them," wrote Romashka Cvetoc.

"Lord have mercy, save and protect us sinful and unworthy and help us to protect our holy LAVRA," Larisa Ignatievna added.

"The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is salvation for every Kyivite, for every Ukrainian, for our beautiful city of Kyiv, for our beloved country Ukraine. We keep and protect this God-given treasury. God give us strength and guidance," said Svetlana Stashevskaya.

"The Lavra is going its own way of the cross today," added Viacheslav M.

"The Lavra has risen from the ashes, from the ruins. Such can be taken away! But God is not mocked! Never forget that!", wrote Nina Khashchina.

"Who will come on 28-29 (March - Ed.)?" asks Adequate Kyivite.

As reported, Metropolitan Anthony said UOC believers are ready to defend their shrines.
