The OCU "priest", who served in the seized Rovno temple of the UOC, said he was grateful for these events to God, Patriarch Bartholomew and President Poroshenko.

The “cleric” called the seizure of the Holy Dormition temple of the UOC in the village of Ptichya, Dubno district, Rovno region “a historical event” and declared that supporters of the OCU had entered their “own” temple lawfully. He said this in a speech delivered before the raiders.

“We are immensely grateful to God for these events, this is very good for Ukraine,” said the member of the OCU.

The "priest" added, "We are grateful to Patriarch Bartholomew and we are grateful for the great things that our President Petro Poroshenko did for our country, the church, and the Ukrainian people."

As the UOJ reported, earlier the activists of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, who in the presence of the police picked up locks on the doors of the sealed Holy Dormition temple of the UOC in the village of Ptichya, Dubno district, Rovno region, boasted of their act in social networks, uploading photos and videos of the raider seizure.
